Annie Reilly

Annie Reilly is a second year Music Education major at the University of Illinois studying under Professor Debra Richtmeyer and Wilson Poffenberger. Annie graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School in Flossmoor, Illinois, where she was drum major of the Marching Vikings, vice president of Music Mentors, and a member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. She was also a member of her high school's two jazz bands, jazz combo, pit orchestra, Viking Choir, and Symphonic Band. During her junior year of high school, Annie attended the 2015 IMEA All-State Conference as a Future Music Educator Seminar participant. She also was recently inducted as a Golden Apple Scholar and will be working with children in school of need over the next ten years. At the University of Illinois, Annie has been a member of the Marching Illini, Hindsley Symphonic Band, Wind Orchestra, and an undergraduate quartet. Annie is also a member and social chair of the music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota.
